A gastronomic interstellar journey from chef Andrew Sheridan
Acclaimed chef Andy Sheridan approached FiFi Interiors fresh from a 2 year stint on BBC’s Great British Menu. We matched his innovative and experimental cooking with an immersive interiors concept centred around the number 8.
With only 16 covers seated around an open theatre kitchen, Andrew and his team create an 8 course tasting menu every night, offering guests both intimacy and spectacle. The concept of 8 is echoed throughout the space, from bespoke table lamps to intricate octagonal upholstery fabric to elegantly curved neon tubes.
The 8 planets of the solar system were the inspiration for our astronomic colour palette of electric blue neon and warm glowing amber. A playful use of mirrors, reflections and lighting creates an illusion of infinity, another subtle reference to the mark of 8.

It was a pleasure to work with FiFi on the creation of my first solo restaurant venture. They were able to capture my 'out-of-the-box' ideas and artistic concepts and create a truly unique dining space of which the UK has never seen before.
